Art Conservation Book
Reading is so important for kids, as you know! I encourage students to develop their own library. It can be in a bookcase, in a basket, in a drawer or another place of their choice.
Hot off the press is this new resource – a book the students can assemble, complete & add to their library!
This lesson is an Art Conservation book that the students will illustrate. They will learn about art care at the same time. Included are seven half pages of art care information (illustrated), 8 half pages for students to illustrate and a helpful introductory conservation vocabulary list.
You can have your students illustrate a collection of art from one artist, or create one example of a portrait, landescape, still life etc. You may have another relevant topic to use. Included is a short essay page for students to show what they know about art conservation. You also get a Thank You page that relates to art conservation. Imagine a complete mini book for students who can use it to teach others about this area of art!
p.s. I bet they will like seeing the picture of mold and a silverfish best!
